QI DANCE EXPERIENCE
Qi Dance is an experience of freedom based on the exploration of your mind-body relations: between breath and rhythm, yourself and others, dance and music. It is a space to allow yourself to naturally move; it is a time to unfold your self-healing potential, to connect and to create within a group. This new discipline was born from the melting of Asian practices with traditional and contemporary dances.
The workshop and training are focused on specific techniques of Qi Dance practice, accessible to everyone: "body explorers from all practices, dancers from all styles, martial artists, people looking for wellness and pleasure of dance, etc.
The essence of the Fundamental Movements develops the structure of a body awareness based on the unity of spiral movements between the pelvis, the spine and the extremities (fingers, toes…).
Fluid Body exercises help develop a sense of inner and outer volumes as you open up your body to its natural flow in relation to the ground and the surrounding space.
In YinYang Duo exercise we focus on our sensitivity to different grades of contact and connection with the partner, to then extend it to the interaction in the group in a dynamic and entwined collective dance.
The Dance of the 5 emotions invites you to a deep «letting go» of buried emotional memories in a surrendering dance to attain a broad range of energy expression and balanced emotional alchemy.
At last, the practice of Spontaneous Movement leads you to touch the deep root of your organic gestures.
